We've all been there. It's 5pm on a Friday and your partner texts you to meet for happy hour. Obviously you're down (TGIF)... but after a long work week, you don't want to wash, dry, and style your strands. 

We rounded up 5 effortless styles you can do in minutes, so you can be on your way to sipping your glass of cab in no time.

1. Claw Clip Twist

We've said it before and we will say it 100 more times, we love the versatile claw clip. This hairstyle is perf for when you're in a rush. Just gather your hair like you are going to put it in a ponytail, but twist. Secure at your ends with the clip to show off the twist. 

You can try this style on clean or second-day hair. For a more romantic look, pull out your face-framing hairs (seen above).

2. Elegant Sleek Pony

The simple sleek pony is a go-to if you want to feel classy for date night. Tame flyaways with hairspray and pull tight (depending on your hair type you may also benefit from an oil or gel).

This look will accentuate your bone structure. Pair with an intense eye look or red lip for a pop of color. 

3. Simple Half & Half

An easy half-up half-down hairstyle is perfect for when you're in a rush.

For my naturally curly-haired queens, embrace the waves and try a heat-free style for your night out. Define and hydrate your locks with your favorite products and let air dry or diffuse. 

Once dry, pin back pieces with your favorite clips and barrettes. 

5. Pin Straight

I have naturally frizzy, straight hair. Although I wish I had wavy tresses (the grass is always greener on the other side), I lucked out with my ability to straighten my hair in under 5 minutes. I like to add a shine spray as a finishing touch.

Don't forget to use a heat protectant before straightening. Dry and damaged hair is never a look.
